Ferrari F12 Berlinetta Car is Fast And Has an Elegant Design

Ferrari F12 Car is Fast And Has an Elegant Design - Of all Ferrari cars have been built with this configuration, Ferrari F12 Berlinetta is the fastest. In fact, before La Ferrari came, F12 is the fastest production car the company has ever made. With 730 horsepower on tap, relatively trim curb weight of 3362 pounds, and seating for two, the F12 is a rocket ship disguised as a big tourer.

It's brutally fast when it wants to be, but most civilized when necessary. Ferrari F12 Have a design that long, low, dramatic silhouette same as its predecessor, the 599 GTB. Shape that looks amazing from the outside, and just as good from the inside, where you're low and looked out over that long nose, look between the two flares on the hood, making room for 20-inch front wheels.

The interior on this car is a mix of old and new - especially in the models tested, which displays the same color of skin tan we have seen in the Ferrari for decades. However, beyond that, and cross-drilled pedals, everything else was really modern.

The steering wheel is the same as that found in the Ferrari FF and the 458 carbon fiber shift paddles are not far behind, even though you can only reach to the "Auto" button on the center console if you can not be bothered.

Many of the rest of the function is less important than the car is controlled by a four-way joystick twistable mounted on the dash, just to the right of the wheel. Things like navigation and infotainment controlled here. This is a range that is comfortable for the driver, but a little stretch for passengers. They do not need to worry, though, as the display control all functions are integrated into the dash just to the right of the large, central tachometer. In other words: a glance down to the driver, but it is not possible to see the passengers.

As for passengers, they will make do with a thin screen mounted on the right, which shows things like traction control settings, current speed and RPM, and so on. Perfect for a rally co-driver - or interfere with co-driver.

This car is as comprehensive as impressive as it is, could be an additional option. That the small display will cost $ 4,336. Leather parcel shelf behind the seats, with a beautiful stitched strap, is $ 2,730. The high-power JBL sound system add to the $ 5,695. Bluetooth connectivity is limited to a pair of smartphones for A2DP audio and phone calls, but the integrated nav system, while dated, tolerable. Entering the address through a little jog wheel is painful, but surprisingly good voice recognition, allowing you to speak the entire address in one shot. Insert the ignition key, give it a twist and nothing happens. You have to thumb red engine start button on the large wheel to start a party, and after a brief cry of starter snarls V12 into life. Pulling away from a stop with the transmission in Auto mode doddle, just apply a small gas light and away you go.

In the softest suspension settings, with steering-wheel manettino played for "Wet," F12 is a comfortable car. Surprisingly compliant suspension and throttle response is gentle enough that you do not have to worry about illuminating the rear wheels while withdrawing after dropping little Johnny to school. With the power of 730 horses entirely on the screen, the rear wheels scrabbling for grip and complain on hard acceleration. Dial it to the "Race" and you will find yourself sitting comfortably in the low and hoarse and loud rocket plane.

Strength F12 delivery can be brutal, and when the manual shift mode transmission Race has no qualms to give it a little kick to the posterior with every shift hard. Search straight long enough (and no speed limit), press the launch control, and take off from hard-line, and the car will fight for good traction into third gear. Officials 0-60 times rated as 3.1 seconds, which I can confirm.

On a larger scale of big tourers, F12 good to the extreme performance. Thus, it makes some compromises for comfort along the way, but the end result is a ridiculously fast car that is still very civilized. It was beautiful to look at, lovely to drive, and the package is really epic. But, be prepared for the epic price. Ferrari F12 Berlinetta starts at $ 318,888 (£ 239.352 are in the UK, AU $ 691,000 below) - but, like most cars in this category, with a quick ride from there by choice.
